A few words about Voula, Athens

Voula is a southern suburb of Athens, built on the shores of the Saronic Gulf and it is located between the areas of Glyfada and Vouliagmeni.

About half an hour from the centre of Athens, the port of Piraeus and Athens Airport is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Athenian Riviera.

The oldest sports club in Voula is the Aris Voulas Gymnastics Association, which was founded in 1952. Aris Voulas until 1977 had only a football department, while today it has ping-pong and tennis departments. It is based at the Municipal Stadium of Voula, with a capacity of 1000 seats.
Also, in Voula, the Proteas Voulas Athletic Training Club has been active since 1980, maintaining men's and women's basketball classes for all age groups. Proteas became the first A2 National Division team to win the Greek Women's Cup, in the Greek Women's Basketball Cup 2012-2013.
