Anthemion Flowers works with selected local florists in each city, so your arrangement is made and delivered there on the same day — fresh, with no long-distance transport. You can order from any country, paying online in euros.

How It Works

We do not ship flowers from Athens to the rest of Greece. They would arrive tired and delivery would slip by a day. Instead:

1. You place the order online, choosing the arrangement, the delivery date and the message for the card.
2. The order goes to a partner florist inside the destination city.
3. The arrangement is made locally that same day, from flowers bought that morning, and delivered to the recipient.

The recipient in any Greek city receives flowers in the same condition they would have if you had walked into a florist on their own street.

Ordering from Abroad

A large share of the orders we receive come from outside Greece — from Greeks living abroad sending to family, and from visitors who want flowers waiting at a hotel. You do not need to be in Greece, and you do not need a Greek bank account.

• Payment in euros by card or PayPal, through a secure checkout.
• All you need is the recipient's full name, address and a contact phone number.
• A complimentary card carries your message, and we can write it in Greek if you prefer.
• Greek addresses can be imprecise outside city centres — a phone number for the recipient matters more here than in most countries.

Yes, we offer same-day delivery for orders placed by 8:00 pm Greek time. Orders placed after that are delivered the following day. Delivery times can differ for remote villages and small islands.

How much does delivery to Greece cost?

Delivery is free of charge. You pay only for the arrangement itself, and the total is confirmed before you complete your order.

Who makes the flowers?

Your arrangement is made by a partner florist inside the destination city and delivered locally the same day. Flowers are not transported from Athens, so they reach the recipient fresh.

Can the card message be written in Greek?

Yes. Write your message in Greek in the order form and it will be copied onto the card as you typed it. If you write it in English or in Greeklish and would like it in Greek, note that in the order comments and we will translate it.

What happens if the recipient is not at the address?

The partner florist calls the recipient, or the sender, to arrange a new delivery time. This is why a working contact phone number matters — Greek street addresses outside city centres are often imprecise.
