Worth to visit in Karditsa:
Pausilipos Grove: A trademark of Karditsa is Pausilipos, the first urban amusement park of the city. Its name has its roots in the words pause and sorrow, which means to soothe sadness. Once upon a time, the weekly animal market and the annual trade fairs took place in this location on the 21st of May during the celebration of Saint Constantine and Helen and at the end of October of Agios Dimitrios, which lasted for 8 days. The park was renovated in the 1990s, turning it into a modern urban park that now welcomes hundreds of visitors seeking tranquillity and relaxation in the city centre.
