Slow growing, evergreen fruit tree with glossy, green, leathery leaves. It is not resistant to frost and during the fruiting it needs proper fertilization and watering. It has white blooms almost all year long and orange fruits, smaller than the mandarin maturing depending on the flowering. It prefers full sun in fertile soil, not calcareous.

The fruits are not suitable for consumption.
